Belmear Lake
Just north of Groundhog Reservoir, this small lake can hold a few diving ducks in season and is worth checking out when you are in the area. Viewing is distant, best achieved with a spotting scope from the side of the county road.
Restrictions: Roads not maintained in winter.

Directions: From Dolores, drive north on CR 31 (FR 526). The lake is on your right, about 29 miles along CR 31, about four miles after the junction of CR 31 and CR H.00.
Alternate Directions: From the town of Dolores, head north on 11th st. for 3 blocks and take a right onto CR 31. Belmear Lake is on the right in 29 miles.
